windows 10 , it's an MG2120 Series printer

  1. Place the item that you want to scan on the scanner glass, or load it into the automatic document feeder (ADF) if your printer has one.

  2. Search Windows for fax, and click Windows Fax and Scan in the list of results.

  3. Click New Scan.

  4. Select your printer, click OK, and then click Scan.

  5. Click on file and save as, save the file wherever you want.

  6. Open your email and create a new or reply to one, look for an attach button or a paper clip icon and click it.

  7. Point it to the file you just saved.
