Hello, I’m Nathan, and I’ll be assisting you today. My livelihood depends on your positive feedback, so your satisfaction is my highest priority.

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble.

Can you give me the complete model number of the printer please?
Are you trying to set up the wifi connection on the printer? Or is that done and you're having an issue with the computer install?

My network is a
belkin wi fi router The problem is that mu computer cannot find the new printer on the router\
Belkin 12 a 192.168.2.1are you still there and where are you in the world???
Expert:  Nathan replied 1 year ago.

Yes I'm here, though I'm in the US.

You have to go into the printer setup menu, on the printer itself, to configure it to the wifi.

Your pc should then find it automatically on the network, if properly installed.

If not, reboot your router (unplug power 60 seconds) and try to install again.

Nathan I still cannot get my computer to find the printer and even though I have the network address and security
type for the Belkin router there seems no way to enter that information into the system. I quit now and try to get some help from nearer to home
Expert:  Nathan replied 1 year ago.

This is not the same thing. None of that matters, you are picking the wifi network name from the printer setup, then entering the password.
Then you're installing a network printer on the computer and letting windows search for it. if you are putting in the ip address of the router that will not work, it isn't the same as the priner address which has its own IP
