I had to reformat my computer and i installed the driver for my pixma MG2420 printer on toy windows 7 64 bit cimputer what I am rting to do is when i scan a docuent Iwant the scaned document to appear on my desktop

hello I am using windows 7 64 bit sp1 I have a Cannon Pixma MG 2420 printer onmy computer had to reformat tried to install the driver myself wjhat I want to do is place a copy of a scanned document on my desktop

  1. Click the Windows icon, click All Programs, and then click Windows Fax and Scan.

  2. Click New Scan.

  3. Make any desired setting changes, and then click Scan.

  4. Click file and save as, to save it to your desktop.
