Hi and thanks for the reply.

This is very possible as the print head contains tiny pumps and they will dry out if not used much or if a period of time goes by with no use at all.

Also they sometimes just fail due to dried ink blocking the internal pumps and sensors. Its an easy repair all you will need is a new print head. They come with easy to understand installation instructions and you should be able to get one from Best Buy or Staples. If they don't have one they can order that for you;-)

I can also provide an online ordering site if they don't have them in stock now.
