Try giving the printer a hard reset and a rest-reset, first of all:
- unplug it while it is On, sharply and suddenly.
- Leave it that way for a while. Meanwhile, open it up and examine it for any sign of paper jams, loose parts in the works, etc.
- After 2 or more hours, plug it in to the power again. See whether the error message goes away.
