I have a canon MG2200 printer that i can't get to print. it

i have a canon MG2200 printer that i can't get to print. it was printing but we had a power outage for a while and now it won't. i use windows 8. it is designated as my printer so i don't know what's wrong.
i'm not that computer literate so i'm having a problem.

no response at all. i use the chrome bar to print and hit the print bar and when the print winodw comes up it just says save bar or cancel bar/ no print bar at all.
i'm using winods 8
