Customer Question

John here.
I have a Canon I-sensys MF4780W
On my old laptop with Windows Vista it printed and scanned perfectly.
Then go a new HP Pro Boob with windows 8.1 and it printed and scanned perfectly.
Upgraded to windows 10 and prints fine but wont scan.
Continiously get the message on the printer " connect the computer"
this is with either scan from printer or initiate from laptop.
I have reloaded the drivers and restarted and tried numerous things but can get it right.

Hello,
I will be the person helping you today.
I can see that you may need a little bit of extra help.
May I ask if you still need help with this problem? If so, may I start a screen sharing session on your computer and help you resolve the problem?
Once the remote session begins, we will be able to communicate via a chat window on your computer.
Thank you,
Jason

Thank you for the update. It sounds like you don't have the updated drivers installed. Please, download and install the drivers from the following website for Windows 10: http://www.canon-europe.com/support/consumer_products/products/fax__multifunctionals/laser/laserbase_mf_series/i-sensys_mf4780w.aspx?type=drivers&language=EN&os=Windows%2010%20(64-bit)

After you download, open, and install the aforementioned drivers, all should be good.

If you need anything else in the future, please let me know.

Thank you for your time today.
