Hi, I’m Wes. I’ll be glad to help with the issue.

Expert:  WesPCDr replied 1 year ago.

This problem usually occurs when the ink cartridge is leaking. Try removing the ink cartridge and inspect it for leaks.

If possible, insert a new ink cartridge to replace the old one.

why am I not able to print envelopes?
Expert:  WesPCDr replied 1 year ago.

When printing, check to see if there is an option for a different envelope type.

Does this happen only with envelopes and not regular size prints?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
There are several choices but it is choosing #10 envelope, which is correct. I have only had this problem with envelopes.

I may not have explained properly what is going on. When I send an envelope to the printer, what I get back is an envelope that has been completely overprinted with a black screen. There is no sign of the address.

I have solved the problem myself by turning the printer off and on and creating a new envelope template. Your suggestions were not relevant. I still don't know why it was printing all-black envelopes but I am glad I was able to finish my job.
