Hi, thank you for contacting JustAnswer.com. My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.
What error message shows on the printer when you try to print 2-sided duplex?
Or how is the attempt to print 2-sided duplex turning out?
I presume that you did not change any settings.
Where did the jam occur? and what did you do to remove it or clear it?
I need to know, in order to judge as to whether you might have affected the printer in certain ways.
Turn the printer Off.
Then check your program's printing settings, that you are printing from.
Then check the printer's driver settings.
In both cases, don't assume that anything is as you left it. It may be, you see, that the act of having the paper jam and then opening the front door, reset some settings in response.
Then after settings all settings properly, turn On the printer again. Try again.
OK. Restart your computer. Then check all the settings again... set them up for 2-sided duplex printing... and see if it works then.
Then you somehow have flipped a 'rocker' component in the duplexing flipper into the wrong position, perhaps.
I don't know how to advise you any more specifically than that... it seems it's the only alternative left.
Since I don't really know, I should Opt Out.
But I suggest that you open the printer up again, where the card was when you removed it, and try flipping any part there in that region of the printer that can move, into the alternate position. Then close up the printer... and try once again.
In apology I have Opted Out.
