Customer Question

Epson GS 6000 printer Service code error 1135
Submitted: 1 year ago.
Category: Printers
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I have replaced the cg motor and cg assembly sensor on this printer
Expert:  Electronics Pete replied 1 year ago.

Hi there,

This error code indicates a fault has been detected with the CR enc assy.

Check the CR sensor.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Pete,If you would of read my question you would of noticed that I have installed a new sensor and cg motor and still get the same code. I have the serviceman manual for this printer. I am looking for someone that works on these printers not looking it up on the internet. I noticed that you were a expert printer person on the ad page but on your qualifications mentions nothing of the sort
Expert:  Electronics Pete replied 1 year ago.

Hi,

I did read your question and saw that you installed a new sensor and CG motor, however the error is indicating a fault with the CR sensor, not the CG sensor.

Hope this makes sense.

Pete.

I have installed a new CR sensor and it is working properly in test mode. There are four things that could be the problem, connections, CR sensor CR Motor and lastly the main board. I was hoping that you have done work on this printer and had some other suggestions before replacing board or to determine if the board is bad
