I have an MFC 4 in 1. It prompted me to change the cartridge

I have an MFC 4 in 1.
It prompted me to change the cartridge which I did.
However, I still get the same message which says "Replace toner, Replace toner cartridge."
I even changed the drum but I can't get the machine to print.
I have several Brothers products and never encountered this problem.

Hi,

I'm sorry about the issue. Please try the following fix:

1. Open front cover
2. Press & release "Clear" button
3. The message "Reset Drum" (or "Replace Drum") with options 1.Yes or 2.No should appear.
4. Press the following three buttons: *12
5. It should show "Accepted"
6. Close the cover, and it should work.

- If it does not work, try again, but at step #4, press the three buttons *00.

- Summary of the fix: Basically, you open the front cover, then press the Clear button, then press the button * (asterisk), then press the button 1 then 2 (or press button 0 (zero) twice.
