I'm sorry about the issue. Do you mean the Canon printer/scanner model MF4450?
Was scanning working previously? Or is this the first time you are trying to scan?
Is there any error or message when scanning?
Is printing still working fine?
Do you have windows xp, vista, or 7, or 8, or mac computer?
- Please download / install the Toolbox software at the Canon website below, then use the Canon Toolbox to scan:
- If needed, download / install the Drivers and/or ScanGear at the above website also.
- If needed, and if you have a windows computer, click on Start -> Run... (or click on Start -> All programs->Accessories-> Run...), then type services.msc then click OK. Then scroll down, then open the item windows Imaging Acquisition, then click on the drop-down list on the right of the option "Startup type:", then click on Automatic, then click on Apply at the bottom. Then click on the button Start there, then click OK. Then open the Canon Toolbox program and see if you can scan.
