Customer Question

I have a Epson 2540 Color Printer PSC. The problem I am having with it is that it is printing in all color, no black and I think the print head is clogged. I've done nozzle checks and print head cleanings to no avail. What else can I do?

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer. I look forward to assisting you today with the best answer possible.
Did you try replacing the black cartridge to check if it is a cartridge issue ?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Yes. 2x as well as replacing the color ink. No luck but I can try that again.

As of first step, let's try manually cleaning the printhead.
Take a paper towel and fold it into 4 turns and make it little thick. Then add little rubbing alcohol to it and then place it in the path of the printhead carriage. Then move the printhead carriage over it a few times.
