I have a Fuji Xerox docuprint cm225 fw and the fax function keeps trying to open a line I have even disconnected the phone line and the fax is still trying to open the phone line it is locking my phone at home how do I stop it

Hello and thank you for choosing JA for your support needs. Sorry for the issue. Please follow the steps below to resolve your issue:
1 Press the (System) button.
2 Select Admin Menu, and then press the button.
3 Select Maintenance, and then press the button.
4 Select Initialize NVM, and then press the button.
5 Select System Section to initialize the menu parameters, and then press the button.
For the DocuPrint M205 f/M205 fw, select User Fax Section to initialize the Address Book
data for fax.
6 Select Yes, and then press the button.
The printer restarts automatically to apply the settings.

I have tried the options that you provided but it is still doing it. Not sure what else I can do other than return it and get my money back.

yes its a new printer that we are just trying to setup but the fax just isn't going as it should.
