please follow the below steps
remove the cartridge and turn off printer...manually slide the carriage assembly\ printhead back and forth
also clean the rail against which the assembly slides with a tissue ensuring that there is no ink residue on it
clean the golden contacts of the cartridges and the printhead with a cotton swab dipped in little alcohol
once done turn on printer and insert ink cartridges
on computer...click start..devices and printers
right click on printer icon..printer preferences
click on maintainence tab..click on head cleaning and head align options one by one
once completed try printing and let me know the status
i will suggest further accordingly

the a, b , c d e f h, i j , m, s, t u v are all , misaligned on the test papes,

also the there are 2 lines down the first cleaning and the deep cleaning.

i would suggest to run the cleaning cycle 2-3 more times and alignment and then check if there is any improvement or it shows no improvement at all

it looks like there are several print head nozzles still clogged

please turn off unit and remove ink
with a cotton swab and alcohol manually clean the nozzles of the printhead and ink cartridge and remove any ink deposits
then reinsert and turn on and run a deep cleaning
try a print and let me know the status

Its a little better but still 2 vertical lines on test page. I will keep cleaning if you think thats it.

if the print quality has improved with the cleaning and alignment then yes, repeating the procedure should improve the quality and put it back to normal
wait for 5-10 mins and then repeat the cleaning and alignment procedure

also you may try cleaning the transparent plastic strip that runs from left to right in the printing area against the rail where the carriage slides with a soft tissue...clean this strip very carefully so as not to break it
in case the issue gets resolved, then you may continue printing
if however there is no change then that indicates a fault with the printhead and that would need to be replaced
in case unit is within warranty cover you can contact canon to get it replaced else may contact a local repair store to get the same done
i hope you understand that in case of hardware faults i can suggest cleaning and reset steps but cannot make a bad part work again
