Hello. My name is***** can help you with your question. This error means that there is a sensor on the ADF that has failed. You may be able to completely replace the ADF to fix it but that could be kind of expensive. Otherwise, you can look for a broken sensor and there are two types of sensors on their – one is a mechanical sensor that senses when it is opened and closed and then the other is a photoelectric sensor which senses when there is paper in the ADF. Just make sure that the paper path and the ADF is completely free of any obstructions.
