I have installed this printer, but when I click print, it does not print. I checked the printer" what the status " there is no job listed. How can I get my print job from the computer to print?

ok now first of all we need to check the connection to the printer and to make sure that the printer is turned on.

please do the following

remove the printer completely from the electric source

ehabtutor :

the make sure the connection between your desktop and the printer is plugged in correctly

ehabtutor :

then connect the printer to the electric source and turn it on

ok please right click on the printer and choose troubleshoot

its the fourth choice in the right click menu, under printer preferences

on the first tab named General, you should be able to see a print test page button at the bottom of this window

ok, lets first make sure that your printer is connected to the wireless network

There should be a blue light near the wireless button on your printer

now can you go to microsoft word for example

type anything and attempt to print from it

once you print from word, you should see an icon in the task bar for the printer, if you double click it, you should be able to see the print jobs queue

Did you unplug the printer and plug it again, when i told you at first?

Yes I did

Sometimes the router is not able to give the printer an ip, this may happen

ehabtutor :

so the printer is not visible for the desktop through the wireless network

ehabtutor :

if this happens again anytime (Probably won't happen) , turn off the printer

ehabtutor :

then unplug the wireless router.

Plug in the router again , then turn on the printer
