Hi Jason

I have no problem with what you did to answer my problem. Unfortunately I found it didn’t work.
However I appreciated the corrections you made to my computer. I have now fixed the problem with Epson’s help
The problem seems to be with Windows 7
This is how to fix it, in case you get the problem again

Change the Startup type to Automatic. Click Apply then OK.
Restart your computer. Install Epson Scan.
