Hello and thank you for contacting JustAnswer, a paid expert support site. My name is XXXXX XXXXX X'X be glad to assist you with your issue.

So, the scanner attempts to pull the paper in but it is unsuccessful, correct?

If so, one thing you can attempt to do is if you can see/touch the roller, try putting some isoprypl alcohol on a lint free cloth and gently rubbing it against the roller. The alcohol will remove any oils or residue that might be preventing the roller from picking the paper up. If the roller simply isn't moving or attempting to pick up the paper, you would need to contact Fujitsu directly to set up an RMA for the device so you can return it to them for service or replacement (depending on what they provide). It may be out of it's initial warranty but they can check that for you when you contact them. You can contact them here:(NNN) NNN-NNNN

If you need any further assistance, please let me know.

Best Regards,
Brandon
