I just eplaced the toner cartridge but the orange light is still on and I can't print.
Optional Information: Make: brother Model: HL-2140 Already Tried: Tried taking out the toner cartridge and drum and putting it back in. Turned unit off and back on.
Hi,Thanks for posting your question ,My name isXXXXX will try to help you today.I am giving my first solution, if this does not help, then please reply me back, instead of rating the answer.I will give you other solutions.Please remove the toner cartridge once more and to distribute the toner evenly inside the cartridge, please shake the toner cartridge gently from side to side. If the problem persist, then follow the steps below and clean the corona wire and let me know.
Be sure to return the tab to the home position (1). If you do not, printed pages may have a vertical stripe.

I did those things several times, but it didn't help.
Sorry, I do not know, that you have already tried to clean the corona wire, several times, because you said, that you have already tried to " taking out the toner cartridge and drum and putting it back in" , anyway, I am out of ideas, because it seems the problem is with the new toner cartridge , I will open the question for other experts, please do not rate my question, as I am opting out,
I had stored the toner cartridge for a couple of months. I think I will have to buy a new one.
