Good afternoon, I have one of your printers that has a five year garantee. I have had the same problem for the last three months. it is driving me crakers. It keeps either stopping during the printing of a number of pages. or says communication nnot available. printers cannot connect to printer. I have turned all of and also reloaded with the disk. and it still does it. also it will not pick up photo paper either. help before i chuck it out of window. if i could lift it that is.
Optional Information: Make: Pinnacale Pro901 Model: Lexmark Pro901 Already Tried: Everything did you receive my question
When it stops during printing of a multi-page job, does it (or the computer) show any particular error message? Is it hooked up to print wirelessly or through a router box? or through a print server of some sort? or is it printing via a USB cable connection?
No error message comes up in middle of printing.
I have USB cable also have router
But, do you print through the router? or through the USB cable?Does the printing through the USB cable (if that is ever how you print) ever susceptible to the problems that you have reported?
I believe it is through the USB cable, shoud i try and re-install the printer with teh disc again and try wireless connection only throught the router??? I also want to know why as it has a five year garnatee that I cannot get someone in to look at it for me and intall it for me properly ? As I am paying £21.00 fopr info what does the grantee cover?
I suspected that the router might be flaky, causing your problems - but only, of course, if you are printing through the router rather than the USB cable. If there is any networked connection to the printer, try disconnecting it for a while and printing only through the USB cable. That might indicate whether the failures are router-caused or on the path through the router only.As to your questions about the five year guarantee, I cannot say, since I am not a Lexmark employee and do not know the terms of such a guarantee. The fee that JustAnswer.com might charge for our services is not related to any Lexmark guarantee.
Thanks for that, I will have a look, I am not quite sure if there is a router connection. i will investigate this. and try what you have suggested. If I want to come back and ask questions again, do i have to pay the full amount again? Thanks for your help so far.
You do not have to pay anything extra after a pause in the question's progress!Just go back to this URL address:http://www.justanswer.com/printers/6viay-good-afternoon-one-printers-five.htmland you will be brought back to this question at the point you left off.Try what I suggested, and get back to me - at your convenient leisure.
