Lets try this as a first step.. It may not solve the problem on its own, but its a good place to start. If this does not solve the issue, Please wait to rate the service and instead send me a reply.


Go to the link below

http://support.microsoft.com/mats/printing_problems/

Click the big green " Run Now " Button.

This will start a file download. Save the file.

Then, once its finished downloading. Run the file

This will attempt to automatically fix the issues with your printer.

Let me know if it finds any issues that it cannot fix.. And if it does say it fixed some issues, please try to print again from the Sony.

do you have 32 bit or 64 bit windows 7 ?>

if your not sure.

click start, right click on computer, left click properties..

Then.. where it says system type it will say 32 or 64

Thanks, XXXXX XXXXX apologies for the delay, I was trying to find the correct firmware download for your printer, that woudl also run on windows 7..

Please note that the firmware your about to load is not the same as the printers driver. This is the actual firmware that operates the software inside the machine.

To update the firmware, please go to the page below and follow the steps there.

Are you certain the firmware downloaded, and installed fully?

Was the printer turned off and on after?
