I have a Lexmark Intrepret S405. It has a Printhead error.

I have a Lexmark Intrepret S405. It has a Printhead error. I have remoced the printhead and cleaned it per the user guide instructions. I am still getting the error. Help!!

is the printer under warranty?

printerexpert :

Open the printer and lift the latch.

printerexpert :

Remove the printhead.

Do not touch the printhead nozzles it might damage

Wipe the printhead contacts using a clean, lint-free cloth dipped in alcohol.

Customer:

Printer is no longer under warranty.


 

printerexpert :

Reinsert the printhead, and then close the latch until it clicks.

Customer:

It is open

Close the printer.

If removing and reinserting the printhead does not resolve the error then the print head is bad you need to get it replaced
