Hello, I am Engineer John C., I will be your expert today. The L7680 printer doesn't work with wireless networks. As a workaround, you can connect the printer to one of the ports 1, 2, 3 or 4 on the back of your wireless router, then you should be able to print via wireless from the computers to the printer.Using an Ethernet cable, connect the printer to one of the ports 1, 2, 3 or 4 on the back of the router, then follow the steps below from your computer with Windows 7:1- Turn on your printer2- On Windows 7, Click Start3- Click "Devices and Printers"4- Click "Add a printer"5- Click "Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer"6- Select your printer and click "Next"7- Click Next8- Click Next9- Click Next10- Click Finish11- Wait 2 minutes and try to print12- Does it work?. Please let me know if the issue is not solved clicking the "Reply to your expert" gray button, so we can continue troubleshooting. 13- Even if you have a subscription, please scroll down and click the green "Accept Answer" button so I can get compensated for my time by JustAnswerThank you very much!John C.Computer Science Engineer

Hello, I asked you to click "Reply to your expert" if the issue wasn't solved. But you left me a negative feedback instead. There are also hotspots routers, if your hotspot is not a router, then you won't be able to share the printer via wireless. In this case, you will need to plug the printer to the computer with a USB cable. Also, what's your hotspot brand and model?
I have a Verizon MIFI4620L JET PAK 6565. I am not able to plug the printer to the computeer with a USB cable, due to placement.
OK, then unfortunately you need a router, or a wireless printer.Your printer (HP L7680) was made to work with a USB cable connected to a computer, OR with an Ethernet cable connected to a router, but is not wireless capable. Please note I do NOT work for HP so please do NOT leave me a negative feedback in case you are not satisfied with them.Thank youJohn C.Computer Science Engineer
I am done. There is nothing more to be said, it is NOT the experts fault. Thank you for your effort.
