I have error B200 come up on my Pixma ip4700 printer. What is the error? It seems like a simple problem. Help!

Hello,

Welcome to JustAnswer !! I am Andy and I will be glad to help you out with your issue today.

The B200 error means : "Printhead temperature exceeded".

It means that the printhead ink wells ran out of ink and the printing continued. Printhing without ink in the wells OVERHEATED THE PRINTHEAD NOZZLES and potentially burned them out.

You will get new printheads from Canon.

I was hoping for a simple solution. Sounds like I will replace the printer like I originally thought.

The print head info (and more) is available on google. I thought you might have a better solution or more diagnostics. Thanks for trying.
