Hello. My name isXXXXX will be your Primary Care Technician and I can assist you with your question.
Was the printer working previously?
If it was working previously, but sat unused for a period of time, it's likely that some ink has dried in the printhead.
This can be corrected. The first step is to instruct the printer to clean the printhead
Cleaning the Print Head consumes ink, so clean the Print Head only when necessary.
You need to prepare: a sheet of A4 or Letter-sized plain paper
1. Make sure that the power is turned on.
2. Make sure that one or more sheets of A4 or Letter-sized plain paper are loaded in the Cassette.
3. Open the Paper Output Tray gently, and open the Output Tray Extension.
4. Clean the Print Head.(1) Press the Setup button. The Setup menu screen will appear.(2) Select Maintenance

I am presently cleaning the nozzles.
Still here. Has not worked yet. Aligning print heads
You can do the cleaning up to three times
The printer was printing fine until I changed cartridges.
Did you remove the protective tape from the cartdridges
Thought I did. Will double check when it stops
Am trying to print this page now
Still no ink on paper
And what did you find out.
Did you remove and check the cartridges?
Does it do the same if you try to copy a page?
do not know. will try
It copied a page just fine.
That takes several things out of the equation then.
It's basically not the device nor the cartridges.
Have you already tried restarting the computer
That is what I would suggest next. Now that we know it's not the printer, it must be something simple, like the computer needing to reconnect with a reboot
ok will reboot now
Just add this to favorites
Got some printing. need to change another cartridge
Ok. So that seems to have solved the blank page problem.
