my kodak printer ESP5250 is showing Erroe code 3527. i've checked for jammed paper and removed. also checked printhead and ink cartridges are installed correctly, but still showing error. does it mean i need a new printhead?

Hi. I am Rick. I will be your expert.

The 3527 error code is usually a printhead problem. Give this a try and see if it clears it.

1) Open the printer and wait for the carriage to slide over. If for some reason it does not follow these instructions:
Unplug the printer
Slide the carriage over until you can get the ink cartridges out.
2) Remove the ink cartridges from the print head.
3) Use cotton swabs dipped in hot water or a mix of hot water and alcohol to clean the print head.
4) Repeat this until there is no ink coming off on the cotton swab.
5) Once finished, allow to dry replace cartridges and see if it prints

If you still have the problem, there are 2 possibilities

One is a bad ink cartridge. You can try replacing them.

The other is a bad printhead which will need to be replaced. The printhead will cost about $70 and can be bought from Kodak. The instructions for removing and replacing it will come in the package.
