in this case you have to follow the below steps sir

Sandeep Pamarati :

Press ON switch to reset the multifunction device

Reset the device when it is not functioning properly.
If the device is not functioning properly or to clear memory, reset it.

On the operator panel, press the <ON> button. (The display will go blank.)

Note: It may be necessary to unplug the power cord if pressing the ON button does not shut off the printer.

Wait approximately ten seconds and then press the <ON> button again.

Wait until the device has completed its cycling process before submitting another job request.

Note: It may be necessary to unplug the power cord and retry if the above steps do not clear the error.

Remove the Protective Material
The tape and protective materials may differ in shape and position from what they actually are.

Open the Paper Output Tray (A).



Lift the Scanning Unit (Cover) (B).
If the Document Cover (D) is open, close it and lift it with the Scanning Unit (Cover).



Secure the Scanning Unit (Cover) with the Scanning Unit Support (C).




Remove the orange tape (E) carefully.
The protective material (F) is removed along with the orange tape.



Lift the Scanning Unit (Cover) slightly, fold the Scanning Unit Support and then gently close the Scanning Unit (Cover).

Okay, I do not see the orange tape beacuse the 2 carteages are al the way to the right of the machince and out of view. Could they be stuck and how would I unjam them?
