My Canon MP980 printer is making a loud clicking noise when

Resolved Question:

My Canon MP980 printer is making a loud clicking noise when trying to load paper from the bottom casette and then fails with the error message that there is no paper. It will load from the rear tray but also with the clicking noise. I have tried setting the paper preference to cassette and rear tray. It still will not load from the bottom tray. I have inspected by removing the back panel, placing on its side and then the bottom panel. There are no visible obstructions. I have gone into settings and instructed it to clean the rollers and get an error message '6000'. Turn off power turn on and repeat. If message persists contact service engineer. Are you the service engineers? If not what need I do?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
Ronald Macdonald
