Short Answer: Raise the quantity in parentheses to the indicated exponent, and simplify the resulting expression. Express answers with positive exponents. {-23x4y0}3 _______{92x-2y-3
Hello again and thanks so much for the request.
Is this the problem or does the y have the -3 to the power - confused by the parentheses on the bottom
the -3 is inside the parathesis at the bottom. the -3 is on the outside of the parathensis at the numerator.
Alright...
Double check this problem first
If correct, then
We will cube each of the numbers on top to get
Reduce the 12167 and 92 to get 529 and 4 and move the x'sand y's to the numerator since they are negative exponents on the bottom to get
:-)
the problem is correct except the poitive 3 is really -3
Sorry about that - missed that in your update.
This ends up being a very large number
We will move everything to the bottom since the top has anegative exponent
We multiply out the exponents in the denominator to get
Then we combine the exponents and move the y's to the top since they are negative to get
