Locating and presenting country information

For this assignment you are to prepare a PowerPoint presentation 5 to 10 slides in length summarizing information about a country you are interested in. At a minimum, your presentation should contain the following information:

A map of your chosen country
A picture of the country’s flag
The country’s current population
A current event happening in the country, which doesn't relate to economics or the government
A few facts about the country’s economy
A brief overview of the country’s system of government


Feel free to include any other information you find about the country that you consider to be interesting or noteworthy.

To receive full credit for this assignment you must:

Use the Encyclopedia Britannica; (Encyclopedia Britannica should be used on this assignment, but NOT on the multi-week major project)
Use at least one web site located in the Peirce Library's "Selected Web Sites" directory (located in the list of links on the right side of the library homepage
Using EbscoHost, locate an article that discusses a recent event in your country. The country must be the main subject of the article, not just mentioned in passing in the text.

To use EbscoHost, visit https://my.peirce.edu. Log-in and click the "My Classes" tab, and then click the "Access Library Databases" link (it is two links below where you click to access your online classes.) In addition, the librarians are always able to provide assistance.
Include a properly cited list of the resources detailed above plus any other sources you use in researching your presentation.
Add your name as footer text.
Must not plagiarize the content of your slides. See the "Plagiarism" section that's beneath "Course Home".
Be concise and make use of bullets. Trim excess verbiage.
