Customer Question

My 2007/8 Porsche cayenne makes a weird humming noise when braking. Is it the brakes. It almost sounds internal like it is the GPS system making the noise but almost always when braking and I'm thinking it might be the brakes squealing?? Thoughts??

Hello, I'm Brandon - Porsche tech.

yes, most likely it is the brake pad that is making the noise.

I would recommend you to get the front and rear brakes inspected. If you are going to replace the brake , I would recommend using only Porsche brake pad.

Please rate me positive for the prompt service, thank you!
