Customer Question

My 2003 Boxster 2.7 Tiptronic goes into Limp mode (fourth gear light flashing) without warning. The diagnostic check shows no error codes neither in engine nor transmission. Once reset, it runs fine again for several days then it happens again.

On the odd occasion it seems hesistant to change gear when in automatic and you accelerate hard, but after a second it responds. Never any problems if you use it in manual.
