Porsche 996: i have a used porsche 996 carrera conv. car had

i have a used porsche 996 carrera conv.
car had been painted and emblems removed
i want to know if its a s or 4s or standard carrera.
i got it used papers and vin say its a 4s
it has the standard front and back bumpers not the 4s bumpers.
i saw a few pics and saw maybe some 4s are regular style bumpers not sure.
what are the diffrences 4s isXXXXXright?
how can i tell what it is?
