I have a 2003 boxster. I was driving and the battery light came on. A mile later all the warning lights came on and the car stopped. A car stopped and we jumped the car but it lasted 6 blocks. I bought a new battery and put it in and I was able to get home (another 6 blocks) but the some of the warning lights are still on including the engine light. Is it ok to drive to the Porsche dealer 10 miles away

About your vehicle.
That sounds like a charging system problem, (alternator), and if the battery is fully charged, then the drive would not be a problem. Each battery is rated at an hourly rate that it will be able to run the vehicle, in the event that the charging system does not work.
