Canuck Tech :

Is the car spec'ed to run on E85?

Canuck Tech :

If it is not specified to run on e85, you will have some serious issues.

Canuck Tech :

Don't do it.

Canuck Tech :

Are you there?

Customer :

you didnt answer the questions

Canuck Tech :

You didn't answer mine - is it speced to run on e85?

Customer :

it says no where that it cant run on e85 just min 91 octane

Canuck Tech :

Don't do it. It will be really expensive, and no, it won't see the higher octane.

Canuck Tech :

The fuel system is not designed to run on this concentration of alcohol. The fuel metering will be way off, the fuel system components are made to handle this much alcohol, and there is no mechanism in place to measure the alcohol concentration in the tank

Canuck Tech :

It will be really expensive to repair...

Canuck Tech :

the fuel system components are not designed for that concentration of alcohol

Canuck Tech :

Run the high octane gasoline.

Canuck Tech :
