I have an XS series Gold Series. The control panel
reads Dr Y. What does that mean?
JA: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?
Customer: about a month and we replaced the filter and we keep it balanced. It has come up on the panel as over heating. We know the wiring is good. What about the filters that unscrew at the bottom of the tub. We have never done that before and are not sure where they are or how to do it.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Yes, unless it turns out we don't succeed.
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: No. We made sure the water level is full and it heats all night and in the morning it always has some kind of code message and we don't know how to check the codes.
JA: How long has this been going on? And how severe is the problem?
Customer: About a month and we did buy a new filter, but that wasn't the problem. I think it is other filters. We aren't sure where they are or how to clean them. I think they are the ones at the bottom of the tub. right?
