My Aqualink dc cord has damage at each end of the connector

Customer Question

My Aqualink dc cord has damage at each end of the connector and my system completely shut down last night with no signs of power to the panel.
Does this indicat that the Aqualink is bad?
Will this cause a complete shutdown of the system?

The cord I am refering to is in the panel and not the lead to the Aqualink unit.
