New sta-rite filter S7MD60 will that filter clean a pool that is 20 by 40 and 11 feet deep in deep end and 3.5 feet deep in shallow end?

Your pool contains 43,500 gallons. This filter is rated for pools 43,200 at an 8 hour turnover rate. So this filter should work just fine. The standard is to turn the pool water over every 8 to 10 hours.

I can't answer that from here. There are likely other issues besides the filter that are restricting the flow or other issues besides a filtration issue. You need to have a pro onsite to evaluate your problem
