When connecting electrical to the new raypak 406a pool heater makes a loud humming notice. Control panel does not come on. Connecting with 120 volt supply . Any help would be appreciated.

Well, I thought it might have been wired wrong. Usually a hum is from the transformer. A loud hum and no control panel makes me wonder if you have a bad transformer. Do you have 24 vac from the transformer?
