Customer Question

I have a Jacuzzi whirlpool Model Z140/340 and am having a heating issue. The heater seems to be working fine but after it gets up to temperature the temp light will start blinking and stop heating. if you turn the heat setting down and back up again it will start reheating and come back up to temp but will not stay constantly running properly. is this only a heat sensor issue or worse.
thanks

Hello,

what happens if you raise temp a couple degrees? Does it get up to that temp and just not restart?

Is the temperature of the water accurate to the reading on unit?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The temp will come up to what you set it for but once it gets to that temp the heat light starts blinking and will not stay at temp until you turn the jets on.

It is not a sensor...it is a board issue.

The sensor responds..it asks for a higher temp...it reports the temp and turns off at set point...it is the reengage where it fails..thus circuit board

is there any way to tell which board? or is that the control pannel?
Expert:  Billy replied 1 year ago.

it is the control panel...it is a control issue.

getting a control panel and not the main board will solve this issue?
Expert:  Billy replied 1 year ago.

follow the sensor wire...it is the board the sensor plugs into.
