Customer Question

I have a Jandy Aqualink RS6 controller. Periodically the water temp display shows a very high temp(135 F) and thus the heat pump will not heat the Spa. The diagnostics indicate "battery low" and "water temp sensor OK". Is the low battery a problem, or is there a reset that will solve the problem?

hello, the battery being low does not change the resistance of the temp sensor. It sounds like a loose/bad sensor...or possibly a board glitch/connection. I would clean all contacts battery...then do a power off/on reset
