Watchdog error USUALLY are from the sensors being out os sync. I have found if you replace both the high limit and Thermostat sensor it will usually fix the problem. In rare cases I have found watchdog to be a bad circuit board but again this is rare. Find where the two sensors plug into the circuit board then trace the wires back to the sensors and replace. The high limit sensor is on or near the heater housing and the thermostat is usually in the filter box or surrounding area.

I do not understand your answer.I wrote that I had resistors connected to the temp and hi-lim inputs. They can't be out of sync.Greg

I am having a hard time rating you as the answer you gave me is not correct.
These sensors do not sync. They are just varesistors that change resistance over a temp range.
And I told you that I had resistors connected to the inputs.
I am trying to troubleshoot at a component level on the board and you are just giving me general information
that only would help a field service tech.
Your answer did not help me at all.I would like my money refunded.Greg
