Wow that was quick. I have a Hayward 250H inground pool

Customer Question

Wow that was quick. I have a Hayward 250H inground pool heater. The heater would go on an off intermittently. I would cycle it through the two mode and could get it to stay on. Now it has stopped and won't fire up. I have new filters and the flow is good. I changed the front module about 2 years ago and got it to work.

Hello,

is there any error code or fault condition present on failure?

Use reply please

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
error code is LO
Expert:  Billy replied 1 year ago.

Thank you....this means a limit is open thus LO = Limit Open

Usually the limit will close with time...or you can turn power off to unit and back on...a dirty filter, poor water flow, pump not running well, bad impeller....anything that decreases flow can cause a tripped limit

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The pool filters are new plus I just cleaned them. The pump is running great and the flow out of the pool inlets is strong. Can one of the sensors be bad. is there a way to bypass this particular sensor to see if the pool heater will kick on?

ok look at the wiring diagrams in this manual...it will show you the limits in order
