Customer Question

I was recently given a older model hot tub. The brand is Jacuzzi and the model # ***** ***** It has a Balboa Model DUH136CCAH circuit (?) board. I have tried to get the tub running, but the GFI breaker always seems to trip. I have had to set up a separate power line for it using a 20 AMP breaker and 12-2 underground wire. At this point I am in the testing stage and have not buried the wire. The tub will come on and run for a short period and then the GFI in the tubs plug will trip, at the same time the far right relay (? not sure what its called, there are an number of them on the circuit board) will open. I took the cover off the box that the circuit board is in. Can you help me trouble shoot. Is 12-2 a heavy enough wire?

Isn't this it?

Thank you!
You need a 30 amp breaker and 10 g wire.
It sounds like it is tripping when heater kicks on.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The guy that gave us the tub said it ran off a 20 amp breaker
Expert:  Billy replied 1 year ago.
I am only going off the specs for that system.
Did he also run 12 wire?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
