I just built a pool house and would like to put a second control pad in the pool house. I have a Jandy AguaLink RS8 in the main house. Can this be done? Can I connect the second pad directly to the control panel at the same location as the first? In other words, I would have two pads directly connected to the four ports on the control panel. If that will not work, how do I connect the second pad?Can I use my old AguaLink RS6 or do I have to use the same RS8 type pad that I have in the main house?

Michelle, Thanks for the note. I have heard noting yet! I am still waiting. I would very much like to get the information as soon as possible. ......Dave
Yes, The aqua link RS allows up to 4 wired controllers, in series or parallel to be installed. Each controller has jumpers on the controller itself which will have to be set to name each controller ie controller 1 , controller 2. You will not be able to use the RS6 controller as the functions will not line up with the RS8
what about connecting to the control box as I asked? Since I will have to hook the pads in parallel, do I hook both wires from the remote pads to the same 4 terminal connectors in the control box?
Yes, at the control box, you will connect both remote pads to the same 4 terminal connectors in the control box.
Never put more than 2 wires into each of the pins of the red, 4-pin terminal bar. If more than 2 connections are needed use a a Jandy Multiplex Pcb board.
