I have never received an answer to my question on the Baracuda.I have a Baracuda G3 pool cleaner. The disc stopped flipping - the suction is fine. I bought a new flipper but it still does not work. The baracuda has so few working parts - what could be wrong with it?
Already Tried: bought new flipper and checked the suction
Did you check the "diaphragm" inside the unit? There is a way to look at it once removed to tell if it needs to be replaced.
You also need to check to be sure there are not debris or small toys in the "quick access cassette" area.
Do you need instructions on removing the diaphragm for inspection?

I must leave to attend a funeral out of town and will be back tomorrow. However, if you look online for a manual it will show how to remove the diaphragm. Hold the diaphragm in your hand by the round edge. IF the slit area is not together and gaps apart it must be replaced. This is the most common repair part on this unit. I see the diaphragm may last 2 seasons at most.

Also, if you take the head to a good pool store, they should know how to get diaphragm out very quickly for you.
