Hello, I have an 850 Marin. The control panel showes most of the function indicators all the time on the screen, some of the numbers are partial or look like letters and the tub does not run. This is the first time I have tried to run it after it being winterized. I filled it and it started right up and ran for about 30 minutes. The pumps then cycled on and off 4 times about a second each time, ran fine for another 10 minutes then quit and now the control panel is showing the above mentioned display. I have tried unplugging the control panel and opened and closed the breaker a couple of times. All the fuses are good and the transformer is good as well. Could it be a bad control panel?
Already Tried: Tested all the fuses. Checked the transformer. Unplugged the control panel. Turned the breaker off and back on. Checked all the connections.
Hello. My name isXXXXX will try to help you with this problem. What year is your Sundance? Please turn off the power. Unplug the topside and any aux. topside from the circuit board. Turn on the power. Leave it on for a couple minutes. Does the circ. pump start up and run? Did you hear the heater relay kick on?Now turn off the power. Plug in the main topside and turn the power on again. Is it working now? if so plug the aux topside in. Is it working now?Standing by.
HI Todd, While I was waiting for a re[ply I went out and messed with it and got it going. I was pushing on the components on the circuit board and it would start and stop when I did this. It is running now and I have not had it stop while doing this again. The control panel now cycles from "cool" to the water temperature then to "ice" then it showes the water temp again then back to "cool" continually. Even when I select the mode or try to set the time.
Okay, that's great!Lets keep our fingers crossed. If the water is very cold, the tub will go into ICE mode, sort of a autopilot cycle until the water warms up to about 60. The COOL will be there as long as the water is about 20 degrees cooler than the set temp. Once you heat up past 60, the ICE will go away and you will be able to set the temp and work the equipment again. If the problem comes back, you may have a bad board. Let me know if it does and we can troubleshoot more.If you have any other questions or concerns tonight, just reply.
Thank you and have a nice day!
