Our hot tub was running constantly but not heating up. do you know how we can diagnose what is wrong with it?

Since it was running so much, we emptied it before the winter....so it is still empty.

Hello, how can I help you today? Well if it was running all the time, that just means that it was trying to heat up to the temperature you had it set to, but since it wasn't heating, it just keeps on circulating the water. You'll need water back in it to test a few things. The firs thing i would have you check would be to see if your heater indicator light is on when it's running. if it is on, then that indicates that all of your heater switches are active and you are getting power to the heating element - if this is the case, you just need to change the heating element. Now if the heater indicator light is not lit, then we would have to go through and test a few things to find out why not. i would also ask you if the display was showing you any kind of error codes when it was doing this. Just let me know and we can get you figured out. Thanks, jeff
