Customer Question

can I put a dimension one heater in a tiger river hot tub

Already Tried:
for the dimension 1 i've replaced the heater and circulation pump and now the store is telling me there is nothing else they can do with it because the heater won't heat up so they think it's the circuit board. I found a Tiger river that needs a heater and I was wondering if I could just use that heater for the Tiger tub

poolguy810 :

Hello, how can I help you today? Well the heater and the pump would work the same in both spas, but the tiger river has both of it's heat sensors mounted into the heater itself and those sensors have to plug into a tiger river circuit board. Likewise the D1 heater doesn't have the same sensors on it, so there wouldn't be any sensors on it to plug into the Tiger river spa board, thus you'd have no way to control the heat. so basically, the only way to trade them is if you trade the control pack and topside as well. But if the D1 board is bad, that would defeat the whole reason for switching
